MNĒMOSYNE is an independent fragrance house based in New York, built on the belief that scent is one of the most powerful forces shaping that memory. We work where fragrance, identity, and remembrance meet—not as nostalgia, but as authorship.
ON THE NAME
Before memory was archive,
she was a goddess.
In Greek mythology, Mnēmosyne personified memory and gave birth to the nine Muses. Her name carries an ancient idea: creation begins with what we retain.
We take her name not to return to the past, but to consider what part of the present will remain.
OUR MEDIUM
Fragrance is atmosphere.
Who we are is never fixed. It shifts with every city we live in, every ambition we chase, every chapter we choose to begin.
Across a life, we become many versions of ourselves.
Fragrance is one of the few things that lets us choose, deliberately, which version walks into the room.
